Position Summary
The Inside Sales Representative will play a crucial role in driving sales growth for BMS CAT by engaging with quality leads. This individual will be responsible for managing and nurturing leads, converting them into sales opportunities, and meticulously documenting all interactions and progress within Salesforce.com. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of excellent communication skills, a strategic mindset, and proficiency in Salesforce.com.
Essential Functions
- Lead Management: Identify and engage with quality leads through various channels. Assess lead potential and move them through the sales funnel.
- Sales Conversion: Utilize effective selling techniques to convert leads into customers, including service overviews, persuasive communication, and negotiation.
- Salesforce.com Proficiency: Rigorously document all lead interactions, sales progress, and customer information within Salesforce.com. Ensure data accuracy and completeness.
- Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships. Address customer needs and feedback promptly.
- Collaboration with Sales Team: Work closely with other sales team members to achieve targets. Share insights and strategies for effective lead conversion.
- Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends and competitor activities. Use insights to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Performance Tracking: Regularly track and report on sales activities and outcomes. Analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement.
Experience and Skill Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in sales, preferably in an inside sales role. Experience in the mitigation and restoration industry (or related field) is preferred but not required.
- Salesforce.com Expertise: Proficient in using Salesforce.com for sales tracking and customer relationship management.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex solutions to clients effectively.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and sales statistics for informed decision-making.
- Self-Motivated: Energetic self-starter who loves a challenge and can work independently and meet aggressive goals within a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and other departments.
- Adaptability: Flexible in adapting to new technologies and changes in the sales environment.
Physical Requirements and Travel
- Work from branch office
- Ability to talk on the phone 8+ hours a day and accurately update notes within Salesforce.com
